FWEOS 68 effectively reduces peroxide induced oxidative degradation substances during processing. The low volatility of FWEOS 68 allows temperatures required for processing thermoplastic polymers. FWEOS 68 is suitable for use in a multitude of polymers such as polyolefins, polycarbonate, ABS and polyesters.
Excess exposure to the product should be avoided. Store the product in a cool, dry, well ventilated area away from incompatible materials. Unless stated, proper storage will permit usage of the product for 6 to 12 months from the date of receipt.
Antioxidant 168 is a hydrolytically stable organo-phosphite processing stabilizer. As a secondary antioxidant, 168 reacts during processing with hydroperoxides formed by autoxidation of polymers preventing process induced degradation and extending the performance of primary antioxidants. It can be applied in polyolefins and olefin-copolymer such as polyethylene, polypropylene, polybutene and ethylene-vinylacetate copolymers as well as polycarbonates and polyamides. The blends can also be used in polyesters, styrene homo-and copolymer, adhesives and other organic substrates. The amount to be used may be 0.05%~0.2%.
